Scotfield Ltd have won planning approval for the
largest ever residential site in Leeds City Centre. Last week Leeds City
Council gave consent for a major mixed use scheme with a capital value of
£135 million providing 800,000 sq ft of development with 640 apartments, a
215 bed hotel, 25,000 sq ft offices and 15,000 sq ft of mixed commercial
space, with on site parking for 500 vehicles, in a scheme to be known as
'The Gateway'. The five phase development, the initial two phases involving
the hotel and 185 apartments will commence on site in the Autumn of this
year. |
